The main focus of this special collection is to present the advanced understanding of the organizational dimension of megaproject management, including organizational behavior, structure, leadership, governance, strategies, relationships, and the interaction among those themes. More than ten papers have been initially selected for this collection, while more papers relevant to this topic will be updated once published in the future. The special collection serves as a knowledge hub to continuously compile and disseminate the latest knowledge on megaproject management to researchers, practitioners as well as policy-makers, and to build a solid foundation for researching megaprojects as an organizational, institutional and societal phenomenon.
